This is the third year the New Yorker has invited artists to submit their own takes on the magazine's iconic mascot, Eustace Tilley, originally drawn by Rea Irvin for the magazine's first cover in 1925.

12 winners were chosen from over 350 submissions.
One of Claire Cotts' entries won, and was one of four to be featured in the Febuary edition of the magazine.

New Cambridge Jones Exhibit

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London,  is holding a press launch on Tuesday February 9th to open a new exhibition and website at City Hall, London.

The exhibition and website both contain 20 works by portrait photographer Cambridge Jones (from The Archbishop of Canterbury to Vivienne Westwood via Mark Ronson).

Each portrait is accompanied by a quote from the subject concerning climate change.  The campaign is part of the Mayor's initiative to enagage the public in an interactive dialogue about climate change adaptation and mitigation.
